KARACHI: A female manager of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has been facing accusations of harassing a flight attendant during a Karachi-Toronto flight, ARY News reported.
A harassment incident of an air hostess during the Karachi-Toronto flight has come forth in which the PIA woman manager grooming was allegedly found involved.
The flight attendant lodged a complaint against the female officer based on four serious allegations via an email sent to the concerned department.

A three-member investigation team head by DGM Security was constituted to probe into the harassment incident. The other members of the committee included a female assistant manager and in-charge SEC Jinnah International Airport.
The investigation committee summoned the accused manager namely Maimona Feroz grooming on April 27. Ms Feroz was accused of harassing a flight attendant Ufaq Shah by delivering inappropriate words and showing insulting behaviour during a foreign flight.
The affected air hostess stated in her email that the officer threatened to degrade her ACR and send her to the training centre as punishment besides criticising her uniform and other matters in front of the passengers and fellow flight attendants.

She added that the female officer turned a blind eye to the grooming violations of her real sister who was also performing duties as an air hostess on the same flight. It was learnt that one more flight attendant had lodged the same complaint against the female officer.
The investigation committee also summoned the second affected flight attendant. Due to the female officer’s behavioural issues, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) had suggested to not appointing her to any key post for five years.
The PIA spokesperson said that the concerned committee will present its report on March 29 and legal action will be taken against the responsible.
